Elaine Mummery tells teenagers how to fight acne

Elaine, originally from Kirkintilloch, will be giving her talk at the Library on Monday, July 26 at 2.30pm.

The short chat will be followed afterwards by a question and answer session.

The author of Spotless – The Essential Guide to Getting Rid of Spots and Acne, Elaine will also be handing out a leaflet outlining natural methods to rid your skin of acne and ensure a clear skin and good health into the bargain.

Convener of Housing and Community Services, Amanda Stewart said, “It’s a little unusual for us to invite authors to give talks on skincare but we’re sure it’s something that will interest many teenagers and, after all, this is an age group we are trying to attract back to libraries."
