McMillan Writes to East Dunbartonshire Council on Cold Weather Contingencies

Stuart McMillan MSP, (SNP) has today (Thursday) written to East Dunbartonshire Council in light of recent weather conditions to enquire as to which provisions the council has put in place to mitigate against adverse impacts of freeze turning to thaw.

Council Continues to Treat Main Routes During Extreme Weather and Difficulties with Salt and Grit Supplies

East Dunbartonshire, like the rest of Scotland, has remained struck by severe wintry conditions since mid December 2009 and temperatures have remained below freezing for most of this time.
