NewsMice.com is an independent news website which started in order to feed news to an East Dunbartonshire local community website called lenzie.org.uk at the beginning of 2010

We accept most press releases from legitimate political parties, businesses, governmental and non-governmental organisations.

NewsMice.com is politically neutral. We publish most press releases we receive and if there is any political slant, that reflects the press release we receive.

Common and shorter words are not included in the dictionary of words compiled by the search function.

How do I search for more than one word
To find a press release with both words, simply list them. To find one with either word write it as 'word1 OR word2'. To search for a phrase write "Search phrase"

Although NewsMice.com is not responsible for the content of press releases and does not vet press releases, if you feel we should not publish any press release please contact us via the contact form and we will investigate and remove it if necessary.

Why would I want to log in?
Registered users are able to publish, edit and delete their own press releases.

Why can't I log in?
Double-check your username and password. Usually this is the problem; if not, contact the administrator.

I've lost my password!
Don't panic! While your password cannot be retrieved it can be reset. To do this go to the login page and click I've forgotten my password. Follow the instructions and you should be back online in no time.

I registered but cannot log in!
All new registrations must be activated, either by yourself or by the administrator before you can log on. When you registered it would have told you whether activation was required. If you were sent an email then follow the instructions; if you did not receive the email then check that your email address is valid. One reason activation is used is to reduce the possibility of rogue users abusing the board anonymously. If you are sure the email address you used is valid then try contacting the administrator.

How do I change my settings?
All your settings (if you are registered) are stored in the database. To alter them click the Profile link (generally shown at the top of pages but this may not be the case). This will allow you to change all your settings.
